About the Journal
The Journal of Primary Health Care (JPHC) is an online medical journal that contains peer-reviewed scientific research relevant to general practice and primary care in New Zealand. Intended to advance the science of primary health care and inform clinical practice and policy decisions, JPHC contains hundreds of research reports, enabling GPs and other primary health care providers to find research on a topic of interest.
The Journal is freely available for all to read and there are no author costs for the publication of reviewed or commissioned scientific manuscripts.
The Journal is published quarterly each March, June, September and December by CSIRO Publishing, on its searchable, citable website (View the Journal of Primary Health Care).
Articles for consideration, should be submitted via the CSIRO website where they will be assessed for relevance and entered into the Journal's review process if they are considered potentially publishable. Please do not request prior consideration of unsubmitted manuscipts.
